The program started when we came up with the idea of asking the 640,000 residents living in Harrisburg, Dauphin, Cumberland, Adams, Perry, Lebanon and York counties to donate a $1 to help Save Our Ship. And asking local businesses to donate $10.
In return giving everyone that donates $1, $1 in Boat Buck$ to redeem at the Pride Riverboat for a public cruise or $1 off your total check for 10 exclusive restaurants on the east and west shores. The idea was that people who help the Riverboat stay a float would receive something back for their donation. For every $1-$5 donated each person or business will receive a $1 Boat Buck.
How it works:
- Program will run now through October 31, 2010.
- People will be able to make donation at all participating Banks.
- They will receive a receipt redeemable Boat Buck$ which they will bring to the Pride office to receive.
- Board Members will also be selling Boat Buck$
Qualifications for redemption:
- Customers will have donated at least $1 will receive a $1 Boat Buck$ coupon.
- Customers must fill out the back of the Boat Buck$ in order to redeem their Boat Buck$ coupon, first name, last name and email address.
