Say Aloha August on the Pride

On Sunday, July 28th City Island felt an authentic Hawaiian breeze thanks to the folks over at MODE Magazine! The 4th annual MODE Magazine Luau was a huge success. The event kicked off at 3:00pm, dazzling guests with scrumptious Hawaiian-inspired food, refreshing frozen cocktails (and lots of beer!) and relaxing sounds of reggae.

The Pride of the Susquehanna took guests on three separate sightseeing cruises throughout the luau, which were very well attended and enjoyed! Live music from Sweet Ruckus and an intense limbo competition for great prizes made the event authentic and fun! A big thanks to our friends at MODE Magazine for putting on a truly fabulous Luau!

As we sail into August, we have a lot of exciting events happening on the Pride. Our extremely popular Pirates on the Pride cruises still have availability on 8/10, 8/31 and 9/21.

If pirates arrrrrrrne’t your cup of tea, why not try a Wine & Cheese Tasting Cruise on August 4th or 25th? Chris “the Wine Guy” Mildner will walk you through the swishing and swirling of fine wines while you munch on delicious Cabot cheeses and enjoy beautiful views of the Susquehanna River and Harrisburg skyline. Sounds like a perfect summer evening date! Make your reservations now!

As always, the easiest way to enjoy everything the Pride has to offer on these beautiful late summer days is on our 45-minute Sightseeing Cruises. For just $10 (less for Seniors and kids!) you can bask in the sunshine, feel the warm breeze and take in the lovely sights on an authentic paddle boat right here in Central PA! These cruises leave daily at 12:00PM, 1:30PM and 3:00PM.

We hope you’re having a fantastic summer. Come out and enjoy it with us on the Pride of the Susquehanna!
